TRANSPORTATION

IMAC does not have an official airline since you can now get better fares online. Virtually every national airline flies into Chicago.

There are no busses that go to the Hyatt Regency-Woodfield hotel from the airport, but the hotel has an arrangement with 2 livery services:

  • All Star Taxi - $19 flat rate, plus tip for up to 4 passengers (847-202-8800).
  • My Chauffeur Limousine - $17, plus tip for the first person, $7 each additional person (800-244-6200).

So, it would pay you to team up with someone. Both of these companies have telephones in the baggage area. They say that they have cars in the airport area so the wait should be less than 10 minutes. DO NOT get into the taxi waiting area curbside! They are all Chicago cabs that will charge you a premium to go to the suburbs. The preferred liveries will instruct you where to wait for them.

The hotel has a complimentary shuttle to Woodfield Shopping Mall, and the Convention and Tourism Bureau has a complimentary trolley that goes from there to other Malls in the area. You can get additional info from the hotel. For those of you who are driving in the hotel has free parking.

Fly to O'Hare Airport

Make sure to FLY INTO O’HARE AIRPORT NOT Midway, or you will have a 1.5 hour taxi ride costing about $60-70.
