G. Shedd Aquarium. "The Shedd" includes a
420,000 gallon shark tank and a 5,000 gallon live coral
tank (which is now finished), making it the largest public aquarium in the U.S.
The field trip will be on Thursday, June 3rd, and will
include a “behind the scenes” tour for IMAC attendees
ONLY. Tour busses will transport the IMAC group
to and from the Shedd. Busses will leave the hotel at 10 AM and return about 4 PM. You can get lunch in the Aquarium
cafeteria.
Aquarium personnel can only handle small groups
for the “behind the scenes” tours so registration
for the trip is limited. The $27.00 fee covers
the group rate admission and the cost of the busses.
