ABSTRACT Fish in the Reef Aquarium: Myths and Misinformation Can I put this fish in my reef aquarium? It's probably the most common question on the various internet bulletin boards and forums. Unfortunately there are very few definitive answers. There are a lot of myths and misinformation about what fish can and can't be safely kept in reef aquariums. There are also a lot of fish that aren't typically considered for inclusion in reef aquariums but actually make great residents in these tanks. This presentation will introduce aquarists to some of these atypical fish as well as discuss their particular needs and behaviors in the reef aquarium.
