During this time, he became fascinated with the Tridacnid clams. His love for these beautiful animals prompted him to conduct extensive research to include controlled studies on feeding, environment, lighting and water chemistry.

In addition, he owns and operates a support forum dedicated to the care and keeping of Tridacnid clams.
